Dr. G. Bakthavathsalam receives 'HONORIS CAUSA AWARD"
Dr. G. Bakthavathsalam, will be receiving the 'Honoris Causa award" (D.Sc.) from THE TAMIL NADU DR. M.G.R. MEDICAL UNIVERSITY during the 19th Convocation of the University to be held at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai, on 10th November, 2009 (Tuesday) at 4 p.m.. The award will be bestowed by His Excellency, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Surjit Singh Barnala.
Dr. Ketan Desai, President, Medical Council of India, will be the Chief Guest and delivering the Convocation Address.
Mr. M.R.K. Panneerselvam, Hon'ble Minister for Health, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Pro-Chancellor of the the University, will grace the occasion.
