KG Hospital Chairman Dr G.Bakthavathsalam was warmly received by the organizers and dignitaries at the Sankaranti Celebrations-2018 held on the premises of Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ganguru, Vijayawada, on January 7, 2018. The event was held under the aegis of Kamma Naudi Samiti.

On the occasion, the Chairman was honoured by Central Vigilance Commissioner Shri K.W.Chowdary and Shri Mahanti Murali Mohan, MP, for the contribution made by him through KG Hospital to the healthcare sector and for the welfare of the society.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Bakthavathsalam said that he was too happy to attend the celebrations. He stressed the point that all the people, cutting across religious and caste affiliations, must nurture patriotism and safeguard the integrity of the country.

Humanism would foster brotherhood and pave the way for amicable living. Since the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N.T.Rama Rao kept the interest of the people close to his heart, people are still cherishing his memory in their heart of hearts.

Dr Bakthavathsalam further said that lured by lucrative jobs, brilliant Indian youths had gone abroad.  He made a passionate appeal to them to return to India, and, use their expertise and experience for the betterment of the life of the fellow countrymen.

The trend presently noticed was that the foreigners were increasingly getting attracted to Indian tradition and culture. “It implies that Indians should take appropriate measures to preserve their tradition and rich heritage. Devotion to Almighty would put the people on the righteous path,” Dr Bakthavathsalam said.

The Chairman listed out the healthcare services rendered by KG Hospital in the past 44 years, ever since its inception. Ms.Deepa Venkat, daughter of Vice-President of India Shri Venkaiah Naidu, and a large number of delegates from India and abroad participated in the event.
