If you find yourself snoring, we can help you at the KGH Sleep Center. Snoring is an indication of breathing difficulty and a manifestation of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Individuals who suffer from OSA occasionally stop breathing for a couple of seconds or even a minute at night. Such individuals will not experience the deep sleep state for a prolonged period of time and their oxygen level will drop as a result. They are prone to high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus.

Snoring and OSA require a specialized sleep study. At KGH, you will be kept in the hospital overnight and connected with leads to machine, which analyses your sleep rhythm.

Contact the pulmonology department at KG Hospital for further information.
